Two Categories: Chicken & Ribs

Cooks Meeting - 7:30am. Chicken Due - 4pm Ribs Due - 4:30pm.

Awards announced at 6pm.

Trophies awarded to Grand Champion, Reserve Grand, and 1st-3rd place finishers in each category.

Prize Money: Grand Champion $700, Reserve Grand $500, Payout to top five winners of each category as follows: 1st $300, 2nd $250, 3rd $200, 4th $150, 5th $125.

$150 per entry by Aug. 31 $175 after Aug. 1.

Open to kids ages 6-12.

Meat and Grill provided, or you may bring your own grill.

Each kid entered must be supervised by an adult.

Check-In 9:30am, Start Grilling 10am, Burgers Due 11:15am, Awards 1:30pm.

$25 per entry.

Contestants enter a Boston Butt or Dessert to be judged.

Prepare meat or dessert off-site and bring to the festival.

Visitors of the festival may purchase a ticket for $10 to sample.

After tasting up to 10 Boston Butts and Desserts, vote for the best!

Samples begins at 1pm and ends at 2pm. Tickets available at the welcome tent of the festival or at the People's Choice area at 12pm.

Winners receive $175 (1st), $125 (2nd), $100 (3rd), $50 (Best Decorated), $50 (Judge's Choice Meat) and $50 (Judge's Choice Dessert).

Contestant entry fee is $40 per category and must provide enough meat or dessert for 300 samples (2oz cups provided.)

If you are a vendor, you will want to be at the Scottsboro BBQ Festival!

Open to New Merchandise, Arts & Crafts, Antique, Collectible, Vintage, Direct Sales Vendors and Food Vendors.

Enter with a friend to compete in the annual Cornhole Tournament.

Located on the south side of the square in the Lackey Law Firm lot.

Standard Double Elimination Format - $20 per team (two people.)

Check-In & Warm-Up from 12pm-1:30pm. Tournament starts at 2pm.

Cash Prizes: $150 (1st), $80 (2nd) and $50 (3rd.)

Located next to the Beer Garden to allow for throwing counterweights.

Visit the Beer Garden on the south side of the square, located next to the Cornhole Tournament. Must be 21 or older with valid ID to receive a wrist band and purchase/consume alcohol. Each purchase includes a BBQ Festival 16oz stadium cup with your draft beer.

Enter your furry friend in the annual Barq-Off Dog Parade.

Enter up to three categories for $10 per dog for the first category,

plus $5 for each additional category.

Registration will be from 9am-11:30am. Dog show starts at 12pm.

Awards to follow with Best in Show winning $100!

Cash Prizes in each Category: $75 (1st), $50 (2nd), $25 (3rd.)

Kids can enjoy the Kids Fun Zone from 10am-4pm.

Inflatables, Rock Wall, Cornhole, Pumpkin Bowling, NASCAR Simulator, Euro Bungy, Face Painting and more!.

Best-Dressed Witch receives a gift certificate.
